Hi all,

i have compilied a list of good Live Support Systems.

Volusion - http://www.volusion.com/livechat_software.asp This system is free, and i use it and I truely recomend it. Although you can also get paid systems with more features.

Website Alive - www.websitealive.com This system is not free and pricing starts at $ 29.95 a month. There are more plans with more features.

ZaZaChat - http://www.zazachat.com/ This system is free, but not so many features, however the paid version does, and probably the best paid version out of them all. But its $24.99 a month per operator.

I would suggest to use the free trials before buying their services. Some systems require you to download and install their operator software, however some companies are web based (in web browser).

You can share your experiences with Live Support Systems here Smiley

Some good software there but for those small companies on a limited budget there is a free company that offer a basic support package. You can download and install the Chatstat software that will allow you to add live chat support on your website  Wink

I recomend ChatStat over Volusion, due to you have many more features including the choice of having more than one operator, using MSN inside ChatStat instead of having the Windows Live Messenger open. You can also use Yahoo messenging, Google messenging and lots more.
The best thing i find is that if you want a upgrade you can upgrade the feature you want instead of upgrading to a new plan.
Its easy to use too, which makes me to really like this software Tongue

I entirely agree, I use chatstat on our website, it starts when my computer starts and is very reliable. Plus, like James said you can add a new feature to your account without paying for more than you really need.

I use chatstat and it is very good. I wish there was a way to ignore certain IP's since this one dude really likes to get on my nerves.

Hmmm, i wouldn't chat with him at all then :Wink if you know his IP then just ignore it when he requests a session.
How does he get on your nerves?

No I don't think so, although you can soon install a simple script that can do such a task Smiley
