Hi everyone,

For those seeking to start a new business and needs accounting software I would suggest looking into Quickbooks Simplestart. It only costs around £30 and is very good for keeping track of sales and providing invoices amongst many other features.

If you want to take a look, visit http://quickbooks.com for more info  Wink

That seems a good piece of software.
For those who havent got money to spend on software I have been searching for Free accounting software.

TurboCASH - http://www.turbocashuk.com/ - It does seem trustworthy, and you can register on their forum for help or you can contact them.

Free Accounting Software is a good company and are fully trustworthy. They don't have a forum like TurboCASH, but they do have a live support chat application for you to use for free.

I would also like to point out that We are not responsible for problems which occurs when you use the software or any updates/patches of the software, if you do have problems we suggest you see its Manufacturer.

This is not to say that the software we recomend is faulty, if you have doubts contact the company who produces the software, or if you know of a person who has used the software you can ask them.

My accountant suggests us using Quickbooks for mac.

I was fine with that until I saw all of the horrible reviews on Amazon, and other sites.

Can anyone recommend software for the mac that would be a good investment?

I know I can run parallels and Quickbooks PC, but Id rather not do that

Hi CipSit,

Firstly, welcome to the forums!

We use Quickbooks 2008 to manage our accounts although we do run windows here. Not sure about any MAC accounting solutions, but I'm sure a quick search on Google would provide some help.

There is nothing wrong with quickbooks, but like all accounting software you have to get your head around it to start with! Smiley
